Features and benefits of luminaire covers
FPC luminaire covers are specifically designed to protect lighting fixtures from damage caused by weather, debris, vandalism and fire. They are extremely energy efficient – able to help reduce energy costs by preventing large amounts of dust and debris build-up on lighting fixtures which can significantly reduce efficiency. Another added bonus of installing our covers is that they will improve lighting quality. By reducing glare and helping to diffuse light, our luminaire covers will emit more comfortable lighting for any environment.
Installation process for our luminaire covers
The installation process for our luminaire covers is relatively simple. You can even do this yourself by following our installation process, but in short, all it takes to install a cover is to remove the existing cover or diffuser from your lighting fixture and replace it with the new luminaire cover.
Maintenance and servicing of our luminaire covers
Our luminaire covers require little to no maintenance thanks to the non-toxic and moisture-resistant material that decreases the risk of the covers degrading. However, it is still important to perform regular checks to ensure the removal of dust and debris that can build up on the outside of the luminaire covers. The cleaning frequency will depend on the specific environment and conditions in which the lighting fixtures are located. Fortunately, the minimal maintenance they require can be carried out with a soft cloth, soap, and water – abrasive cleaners should be avoided as they can damage the cover material.
