At FPC, we stock both 60/60 and 60/50 luminaire covers to protect your recessed light fixtures and ceiling integrity. Our fully tested fire rated luminaire covers provide up to 60 minutes of protection and help to prevent the spread of a fire.
The luminaire covers we supply are easy to install and require no additional fixings or equipment. Our covers are environmentally friendly and are manufactured from a non-toxic fire-resistant material.
For all protection solutions for your luminaires and lighting fixtures, FPC supplies bespoke luminaire covers, all of which are fire rated tested to assure you your fittings will be efficiently protected. Our luminaire covers are available in various sizes, including 650 x 625 mm and 1250 x 625 mm and are made from non-toxic fire-resistant material which is unaffected by moisture. Additionally, our luminaire covers present no hazards during installation neither do they require any screws or additional fixings.
FPC luminaire covers are specifically designed to protect lighting fixtures from damage caused by weather, debris, vandalism and fire. They are extremely energy efficient – able to help reduce energy costs by preventing large amounts of dust and debris build-up on lighting fixtures which can significantly reduce efficiency. Another added bonus of installing our covers is that they will improve lighting quality. The installation process for our luminaire covers is relatively simple. You can even do this yourself by following our installation process, but in short, all it takes to install a cover is to remove the existing cover or diffuser from your lighting fixture and replace it with the new luminaire cover.
Our luminaire covers require little to no maintenance thanks to the non-toxic and moisture-resistant material that decreases the risk of the covers degrading. However, it is still important to perform regular checks to ensure the removal of dust and debris that can build up on the outside of the luminaire covers. The cleaning frequency will depend on the specific environment and conditions in which the lighting fixtures are located. Fortunately, the minimal maintenance they require can be carried out with a soft cloth, soap, and water – abrasive cleaners should be avoided as they can damage the cover material.
