Intumescent Glazing Channel

A rubber based Intumescent glazing channel to suit 1/2 hour fire rated glass between 5mm & 7mm thick.

The channel fits neatly around the glass and sits between the wooden beads.

In the event of a fire the material expands and assists in cooling the perimeter of the glass so increasing the insulation at the points of contact.

The glass is placed in the channel which can be mitered at the edges. Once in place follow the normal instructions for fixing the beads with the appropriate pins or screws.
