Fire Rated Retro Fit Letter Box Liner

An intumescent liner for letter box. For mail apertures in fire doors where letter flaps already exist.

Both flaps should be removed. Ensure an even surface within the aperture and if necessary prime the internal face if required to give surface adhesion for the liner. Measure, cut, then fit the top and bottom first, and the side pieces last so they act as support for the top and bottom sections. To fit, peel of the backing tape from pieces and fit centrally in the aperture. Fix with panel pins through top, bottom and sides. Re-fix letterplates and check that no obstacle exists for the smooth passage of mail etc
