Intumescent Glazing Channel

Description

A rubber based Intumescent channel to suit 1/2 hour fire rated glass between 5 & 7mm thick.

Application

The channel fits neatly around the glass and sits between the wooden beads. In   the event of a   fire the material expands and assists in cooling the perimeter of the glass so increasing the insulation at the points of contact.

Installation

The glass is placed in the channel which can be mitred at the edges. Once in place follow the normal instructions for fixing the beads with the appropriate pins or screws.
