Luminaire Covers
Features
Used in installations, to maintain the integrity of fire rated ceilings, where Light fittings are installed. The cover is made from fire rated material which, in the event of a fire, prevents fire spreading from the room below. When installed with a Light fitting the construction of the cover will maintain the fire attributes of the ceiling, where previously tested. Heat transferring material allows the heat from the lamp to dissipate reducing early failure of lamps and cable overheating risk. Fixing Clips (No tools required) allow easy fitting Covered by failure to perform, insurance (subject to correct installation). Key Features Suitable for 30 & 60 minute fire rated ceilings. Luminaire covers are flexible, light and can be installed from below or above the ceiling. Self supporting. No screws or additional fixing's required. No maintenance required Non-toxic and unaffected by moisture. Fire Resistance test in accordance with BS476: part 21 Available in 600x600mm and 1200x600mm Health and safety Luminaire covers present no known hazards during or after installation
