Intumescent Letter Box

Description

The letter box has a plastic body with spring loaded extruded aluminium letter plates, all complete with an unobtrusive layer of Intumescent material.

Application
                          
For use in 30 minute fire doors where an aperture has been cut to accept a letter box. In a fire the Intumescent expands, closing the aperture so maintaining the doors integrity. Cold Smoke protection is maintained by seals around the perimeter of the flap. A brush on the internal section also acts as a draught excluder.
